“ Absolutely wonderful, this is THE place to stop if you take the Blue Ridge train. The wrap was delicious, lots of flavors coming through and the olives are amazing. The hummus was outstanding as well. Small interior, but it’s right across from the train drop off which is covered and has a good number of picnic tables. Also make sure to get the hot sauce! ”
“ Authentic Lebanese & Jordanian food & minimarket; serves Turkish coffee straight from the hot sand! Local art pieces and wonderful cozy atmosphere. ”
“ There’s really not enough words to do this place justice!! Not only is the food BEYOND delicious and authentic, but Matthew is really kind and awesome!!!! He really puts his heart and soul into everything which energetically you can feel! It’s like you’re part of the family and that comfort is very honorable! I highly recommend my top three favorites- the freshly made mint tea, spinach fatayer, and grape leaves! Seriously everything on the menu is sooooo fresh and quality!!! Oooo and the homemade baklava is out of this world! In addition to eating there, there is options of taking home food to have for the week! Best food option in McCaysville!!!!! The photo I uploaded is artwork in the space... a really beautiful poem! I totally forgot to take photos of my food because my experience was so present and blissful. ”
“ Matthew, the owner, is as nice of a person as they come. The small store is extremely quaint and very welcoming. It may be small but there is more than enough space to please just about any palette related to Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean style. The shawarma’s are exactly what I expected and remember from my time in Saudi Arabia. The gyros are very tasty and the falafel was the best I’ve ever tried. His hand made hummus is like none I’ve ever tried....super creamy and chock full of flavor!!!! His homemade baklava was rich and delicious. If you are ever in the this cool little town near Blue Ridge then you MUST go and see and taste something like you’ve never had! If you are new to this kind of food then it is the best first experience you could ask for. It will definitely be on my list for an annual visit on our camping trip. ”
“ Don't sleep on this gem!! Falafel is superb! Masa plate is too big to finish in one sitting. We rode the train into town, and this place is right across from the depot. Seating is bar stools for approximately 8-10. ”
“ It reminds me of the neighborhood deli; friendly and helpful. The Hummus Bi Tahini takes me back to the old city in Jerusalem! Oy! The best tasting Hummus I've had in ages! With fresh pita I must add! ”
“ I tried the Baba Gannoush today. It was so delicious. I always enjoy stopping in here. Mathew is awesome! Super excited to try the Sour Cherry and Calabrian Chili Orange spreads I bought too! ”
“ The owner was so nice and welcoming! This is truly a great environment. The food was fresh and delicious. We ended up ordering more to go because of how delicious it was. Can’t recommend this place enough! ”
